I am 27 and her funeral was the first I had ever gone and it was the saddest thing I have ever seen and I had never even met her. Hit me hard cause my daughters the same age. "i too have lost due to cancer, that is the nasties word anyone can ever say to me. not only have i lost a close great aunt, and a special aunt i also lost my brother at age 20 to cancer then my dad to it, and then my mom, and supposedly it doesnt run in the family, but i cant and wont believe that line. cancer is the most horrible thing i ever saw, it slowly destroys the person infected but also every member of thier family and closest friends. my heart goes out to those going thru what i went thru , the watching the waiting and unfortunately the hoping that it just ends because their in so much pain.all i can say to those struggling with anything to do with the C word is just take the time to say i love you."
